In a world that's constantly on the move, where time is of the essence, we all understand that unforeseen circumstances can sometimes disrupt even the best-laid plans. At Head Shed, we've always prided ourselves on flexibility, compassion, and above all, providing the highest level of service to our beloved clients.
However, as we've grown and expanded our commitment to you, we've encountered a challenge that has prompted us to make a necessary change in our policies. We want to share the details of our new cancellation policy with you, which will come into effect Saturday 4th November.
The Reason for Change
Over the years, we have had the absolute privilege of serving a diverse and loyal community of clients, all with a wide range of needs and schedules. It's been a beautiful journey, one that we've cherished every step of the way.
Recently, we've observed an increase in last-minute cancellations and, sadly, no-shows. These situations, while sometimes unavoidable, can have a significant impact on our ability to provide the quality of service that each and every one of you deserves.
At Head Shed, our mission has always been to offer a safe, welcoming space for you to embrace and enhance your curls, while feeling valued and understood. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows can lead to gaps in our schedule, making it difficult for us to serve you effectively.
Our New Policy: What It Means for You
To address this issue and continue offering you the best service possible, we are implementing a new cancellation policy. Starting [Effective Date], we will require card details when booking appointments online.
We kindly ask that you understand the reasons behind this change, as it will allow us to mitigate the impact of last-minute cancellations and no-shows. Here's how the policy will work:
- If you book an appointment and do not show up, you will be charged 100% of the service cost.
- For clients who need to cancel, a 50% charge will apply if the cancellation occurs within 72 hours of the appointment.
Please rest assured that these measures are not intended to create any inconvenience or distress. Instead, they are aimed at ensuring that every client we care for receives the attention and service they deserve, without disruptions.
Our Gratitude to You
We want to express our sincere gratitude for your continued trust and support. The Head Shed community, which you are an essential part of, is built on kindness, understanding, and respect. Our commitment to caring for your unique curls remains unwavering.
As we enter this new chapter with our updated cancellation policy, we do so with a deep sense of appreciation for the incredible clients who make our work so fulfilling. Your understanding and cooperation mean the world to us, and we promise to continue delivering the high-quality care you've come to expect.
Thank you for being a part of the Head Shed family, and for allowing us to care for your curls. Together, we can navigate this change, ensuring that our curl community continues to thrive and shine.
